Bubbling Edible Kitchen Pets
Following a conversation about scobys’ and fermentation I thought I’d post about this wonderful book by Sharon Flynn of The Fermentary – a real fermenter’s bible with everything you need to know about getting to grips with this ancient art.
Apart from the tremendous gut health benefits, fermenting is serious fun… bubbling edible kitchen pets (no walkies required!). I particularly love the simple no scoby ferments like the ‘ginger bug’ and can’t wait to try the condiments section, particularly the ‘fermented hot sauce’ and ‘Indian lime pickle’.
