An Organised Kitchen is a Happy Kitchen

Jan 22, 2019

Keeping on top of your kitchen makes it a happy place to cook and create. The spice drawer has always taken pride of place in the Cook Folk Kitchen – dedicate a drawer or a basket to your spices and invest in little jars that you simply invert and label so you can see exactly what you have. I buy whole spices and grind myself, as well as spice blends from Spice Mountain.

I like to be able to see my ingredients as it really helps inspire me in the kitchen. Plus a little bit of kitchen organising sets you up for the year ahead. I get most of my jars from Kilner UK but it’s amazing what you can pick up in charity shops too…

For brilliant tips on organising your kitchen take a look at Remodelista’s excellent book ‘The Organised Home’ and of course, Marie Kondo.
